The Performance Company took to the stage in March 2010 to premier their new work at the tri-annual Cloud Dance Festival, Trouble and Desire.
Journeys Bound delves into the concept of 'home' and reveals a glimpse into the dancers experiences of travelling and how it has affects their lives. Looking out the windscreen of a moving car the audience is taken to various locations through projection, exploring a personal journey through speech and the gradual diffusion of one movement phrase to another.
Cascade Dance usually creates site-specific work, so when showing in a theatre this bridge was beautifully gapped by projections engulfing the back of the space.

Journeys Bound was choreographed by Samantha Blackden and is part of the company's repertoire.
